Advanced through Regional and Lone Star Finals (State) to represent Texas at Global Finals in Kansas City, placing 9th in the world in Middle Level Technical Challenge.

The Challenge

Pinball Heroes - Technical Challenge

Teams were challenged to design and build a pinball-themed solution with technical elements integrated into a live 8-minute performance.

Pinball Machine

Team-designed and built functional pinball machine as a central prop element for the performance.

Machine Modules

Custom-built modules with different functions, each designed and fabricated by team members.

Large Spinning Dice (TCE)

A 3D-printed spinning dice mechanism serving as a Technical Challenge Element - designed in CAD and fabricated by the team.

Creative Story

Original storyline developed collaboratively by all team members, performed live with technical elements integrated into the narrative.

Teams formed. "Pinball Heroes" Technical Challenge and "So Extra" Improvisational Challenge selected. A-Z brainstorming sessions begin with story ideation from each team member.
Sept - Dec 2023
Build Season
Pinball machine designed and constructed. Machine modules built. Large spinning dice 3D-printed and assembled.
January 2024
Performance Ready
Scene materials finalized. Technical elements integrated into the storyline. Team rehearsals intensify.
February 2024
Regional Tournament
Presented "Pinball Heroes" solution at Regional competition. Advanced to Lone Star Finals (State).
March 2024
Lone Star Finals (State)
Competed at the Texas State tournament. Qualified for Global Finals!

Global Finals 2024
